MISSION STATEMENT: The
Gulf Islands Conservancy , Inc. is dedicated to the preservation
and protection of the barrier islands and coastal wetlands of
Mississippi. The GIC is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization
that encourages public use of our marine resources balanced with
the need to protect the Gulf Coast’s
fragile estuarine system. The diverse membership provides a service
as a friends group to the Gulf Islands National Seashore through
volunteer programs, public education projects, and environmental
advocacy efforts.

our vanishing marine resources possible. Through membership you
support Gulf Islands National Seashore and our state’s
other precious coastal resources.
